The MTJNR is a right-hand external turning toolholder built to ISO standard, designed for use with TNMG triangular negative-rake inserts. The top-clamp system holds the insert securely under heavy cutting loads, delivering consistent performance, extended tool life, and reliable surface finish across a range of materials and applications.
The 60° triangular insert geometry provides three usable corners per side – six in total – making TNMG inserts an economical choice for general-purpose turning. The negative rake promotes edge strength and stability, particularly in interrupted cuts and on harder workpiece materials.
Available in two shank sizes and two insert capacities to suit different machine tool requirements and depths of cut.
