ER-40 Collets: AAA Grade
Use these collets when concentricity matters. Our AAA-grade ER-40 collets are precision-ground for minimal runout, so your cutters run true, cut cleaner and last longer. That means less chatter, a better surface finish and fewer broken tools.
Each collet is made from hardened, tempered spring steel. The slotted design closes evenly around the shank for a strong, consistent grip across the full clamping range. They fit any standard DIN 6499 ER-40 chuck or holder, so they slot straight into your existing setup.

Pro tip: For maximum accuracy and grip, clamp the shank as close to the nominal size as possible, and keep collets and chuck tapers clean.
